The Mesh straps are woven stainless steel with a mat brushed or shiny polished finish buckles. Not all combinations of size and buckle finish are available. The adjustment mechanism slides across the strap and the tail of the strap fits inside the other one to make a clear crisp finish. They are robust, but not as strong as the stainless steel bracelet watch straps, but for most jobs around the home they will be strong enough to cope.

The Aura model is a very distinctive watch. The black or white leather strap is interchangeable one with the other. The securing mechanism is a small round screw which is undone with a 5 centime piece or similar. As you can see from the photo, there is a hole in the strap where the watch is fitted.

The Retro watch is again a very distinctive watch. The strap housing part is part of the watch and follows the line of the casing. The strap also follows the contour of the circumference of the watch face; i.e. there is no gap between the strap and the watch.
The standard length versions of the straps have now been discontinued and are no longer available. The only substitute is now the XL version, which isn’t as long as it sounds. For reference, the dimensions are below:
Buckle end (exluding the buckle) is: 14mm width is 65mm, the 20mm width is 85mm.
The tail end is: 14mm width is 125mm, the 20mm width is 130mm.

The Stop2Go watch is quite a chunky watch, so a special 20mm strap is required which is thicker than the other 20mm straps. This watch is the only Mondaine that stops for 2 seconds when the second hand reaches 12; the minute hand then moves to the next marker.
